Book Design Completed: Painting the Body Beautiful: A Showcase of Expert Body Painting by Art Ketchum
Meg has completed the layout and design of this 128-page, full-color book. Next, the book will be proofread one last time before sent into pre-press production and printing. The finished book will be 8.5" x 11", perfect-bound (softcover) with a gloss lamination finish. Pages 50 and 51 are show at left.
Painting the Body Beautiful features the photographs of Art Ketchum with body painting by artist Jim Brando. The first section lists the materials used and a step-by-step description of the body painting process. The additional five chapters show the finished work, as well as behind-the-scenes images of the models being painted and getting ready. It also includes model comments and painting hints.
